Keeping kiddos with you at church

I believe that Christian parents should try to keep their children with them during church at all costs...and the cost is usually patience. I never saw myself as an impatient person until I had children. My patience is tested daily by these sweet little blessings, even at church.  Throughout the years we have tried different things to keep our little children quiet and to teach our big kids to be helpers! Here is a quick list of church service ideas!

• Magnetic drawing board
• Sermon notebook
• Small Dover sticker book
• Small magnet box

We've decided to cut off toys and coloring books once a child can read. When a child can read they are expected to bring their bibles and follow along. We do let them bring a pencil to take notes or doodle!
