Spring Cleaning hacks you need to try

Most of all you just need a good playlist, a bunch of little helpers and elbow grease to get your house spick-n-span
but there are some other hacks along the way that can help, so here is my short list!
- Put everything you can into your dishwasher or a sink filled with super hot soapy water. Ideas would be light fixtures, vent covers, and the yucky refrigerator screen.
- Use a lint roller to clean lampshades and screens
- Check out a window track hack here!
- If you want to try cleaning your window screens without removing them click Here!
- If you have a huge house to clean, or a small house that needs a lot of work, celebrate once you are finished with a new spring candle, new spring table cloth or cheap fresh flowers from Walmart!
- This is my favorite post on deep cleaning a fridge! She places her racks, drawers, and shelves in a big Rubbermaid bin, I use the dishwasher for the smaller pieces and the bathtub for the larger ones.
- Cleaning an area rug isn't fun....I hate it. I either buy cheap ones that I eventually throw out (we have a high traffic home) or expensive ones I don't mind having someone come and clean....the latter never happens. This method of area rug cleaning is the one I have heard the most success stories with! Now, get to it!
- Oh, I almost forgot fan blades. We don't have ceiling fans in this house and while I know I might miss them in August, I really don't miss cleaning them! Maybe because I'm short at everyone just laughs at me as I try to do it!!
I think the above list are the things I really only do once a year! OK, not the fridge, that happens more often because my husband cleans it for me. I do a great job of keeping it clean, but deep cleaning it? Not my favorite!
